N1 South closed last night due to burning tanker

N1 south near New Road in Midrand had been closed off for all traffic due to a milk tanker that is on fire last night.

The tanker was on the side of the road, however, for safety reasons the highway had been closed until the fire department had extinguished the flames.

No injuries were reported.
