J’Something and Castle Milk Stout feed the Kwaito Revolution

Producing a new album is hungry – and thirsty – work, so J’Something and Castle Milk Stout last week teamed up to feed artist Spikiri, while he performed songs from his new album on Kaya FM.
Castle Milk Stout Unplugged is a monthly feature on the popular radio station which sees the brand pair musicians with food that is cooked by Mi Casa frontman J’Something.
Last week’s in-studio guest was Soweto born, Mandla Mofokeng, otherwise known as Spikiri. The kwaito artist nailed his Unplugged session and enjoyed tucking into J’Something’s Castle Milk Stout gravy sausage and garlic mash.
Because J’Something professes not to be a chef, rather “a guy that really loves food and cooking”, his recipes are easy to recreate at home.
“I’ve developed a Stout Gravy Sausage and Garlic Mash to excite your taste buds. You can also enjoy the Beeramisu I’ve developed using Castle Milk Stout Chocolate, such a winner,” J’Something concludes.
