MEYERTON. – Luke Coetzer (18) of Golf Park in Meyerton caught a junior Southern Gauteng record Blue Marlin off St Lucia, Kwazulu Natal on the 29 November 2016.
The crew had earlier in the day released a Striped Marlin that swam away strongly and an hour later hooked into the big Blue marlin that sadly died an hour and forty minutes into the fight and was loaded and then weighed . The fish weighed 295kg and it’s the biggest Blue Marlin caught in St Lucia to date
