WALKERVILLE. – ER24 reported that a man, believed to be in his 30s, was left seriously injured yesterday afternoon March 23, when his light motor vehicle crashed into a tree off the R82 in Walkerville.
When ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene, they found a light motor vehicle smashed against a large tree. A man was found seated in his vehicle. Paramedics assessed the man and found that he had sustained numerous injuries and was in a serious condition.
The man was carefully extricated from his vehicle, treated for his injuries and provided with advanced life support interventions. Once treated, the patient was transported to Sebokeng Hospital for further treatment. It is understood that the driver lost control of the vehicle, causing the vehicle to veer off the road and smash into the tree. Local authorities were on the scene to investigate further.
