Three suspects escapes from Sasolburg magistrate court

Sasolburg. The Police in Sasolburg are searching for three suspects who escaped from lawful custody on Monday 12 June 2017. The three suspects Mpho Mokoena 21 years old was arrested for robbery with a firearm. The second suspect Ben Nengomashe Motaung 26 years old, was charged with robbery common and the third suspect Bongani Tshabalala 24 years old from Chris Hani Zamdela for shoplifting. It is alleged that the suspects escaped before they could appear in court at the Sasolburg Magistrate Court during lunch time. “We are going to launch an investigation into circumstances surrounding this escape. Those who may be found to have been negligent in this regard will be dealt with accordingly”, said Cluster Commander of Zamdela, Brigadier Pholenyane Morake. “We therefore call on anyone with information on the whereabouts of these suspects to please contact Detective Lieutenant Colonel Sabata Modupe of Sasolburg Detectives on 082 466 7939 or office 016 973 2192”, he added.
