Once again it is nearly time for the special annual family event “Rotary Carols by Candlelight” at Stonehaven on Vaal, on Sunday the 17th December.
It is on from 6 – 8pm.
There is no entrance charge for this charming event, just the option of purchasing candles and song sheets at a nominal charge, if you so wish.
The nativity scene is set right on the banks of the river, with the sun setting, as you listen to all the lovely Carols being sung. Doesn’t get much better than that!
There will also be a Rotary Christmas Market on the day and the Rotary Tree of Remembrance will be up. You can purchase wooden candles tags for the Tree (R50) and write a personalised message to remember and pay tribute to someone special in your life. Besides the Rotary Christmas market, there will also be the Rotary Cake and Tea Stall on the day and food and beverages for sale, so you can make a whole day of it! Complimentary entertainment for the children too and river cruises.
