Woman (67) killed in head-on collision
Upon closer inspection, paramedics found the body of an elderly woman lying trapped inside the light motor vehicle. Paramedics assessed the woman and found that she had sustained numerous injuries and showed no signs of life.
A 67-year-old woman was killed this morning following a head-on collision between a light motor vehicle and bakkie on Pretoria Road in Kempton Park.
ER24 paramedics, along with another service, arrived on the scene to find a light motor vehicle and bakkie, with a trailer, on opposite sides of the road.
Upon closer inspection, paramedics found the body of an elderly woman lying trapped inside the light motor vehicle. Paramedics assessed the woman and found that she had sustained numerous injuries and showed no signs of life.
Unfortunately, nothing could be done for the woman and she was declared dead.
Two men from the bakkie were assessed and found to have escaped injury.
