According to Phil, vacant stands are being developed in the in the R400 000 to R600 00 price band, which makes a new offering of 22, two-hectare plots, starting at R350 000 very attractive, resulting in a number of stands immediately being reserved for purchase.
Phil says keen homebuyers, which are predominantly in the mid-30 to 50 age bracket, are tapping into the beachside haven that is safe and peaceful and just a two hour’s drive from the city. While many waterfront land across South Africa are outside the affordability bracket of a large majority of investors, the Vaal Dam is another matter, with the interest in top tier plots a positive indication of the market overall.
