ER24 paramedics, along with another service, arrived on the scene at 07:51 to find a bakkie parked in the veld some distance away from the road. Two men were found lying outside the vehicle.
Paramedics assessed the men and found that they had both sustained numerous injuries and were in a critical condition.
The patients were treated for their injuries and were provided with advanced life support interventions. Once treated, one man was airlifted by the ER24 Oneplan Helicopter while the second man was airlifted by a private medical helicopter, both to a private hospital.
The details surrounding this incident are not yet known but local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
