VANDERBIJLPARK. – The summer is magic, but when you throw in a half-a-field hockey tournament on Astro suddenly it becomes a little bit better.
On February 15 and 16 in Vanderbijlpark at the Isak Steyl Stadium the NWU Vaal Hockey Tournament will set the Vaal Univeristy of Technology’s Astro turf ablaze.
On the 15th the event will start at 16:00 to accomodate players who might still be pre-occupied with athletics.
On the 16th the action packed day will kick off at 09:00.
The entry fee per team is R960. Six-a-side on field with an additional two reserves.
*But wait there is more good news from March 14-16 NWU Vaal will also host a hockey clinic at VUT’s Astro field. The cost is R350 per person and group discount will giving for school group bookings.
