Three suspects arrested with fire arms

On Tuesday 12 March members of Sedibeng Flying Squad arrested three suspects for possession of unlicensed firearms

The members, Sergeant Samuel Ledwaba, Sergeant  Siakudumisa Sobekwa and Constable Papie Kgoadi were following information which led to at tuck shop in the Sedibeng district.   It is alleged that three suspects with firearms were involved in robbing the tuck shops.  Members identified three houses according to the information received.  The houses were searched and found to be having one suspect each armed with a firearm.  All three suspects were arrested and detained at Sebokeng SAPS..

The types of firearms recovered in the scene are  Bohmische 7.65 pistol with serial number filed off  and sixteen live rounds, the second one is the CZ 75 9MM pistol with eleven live rounds serial number filed off and the third one  norinco 9MM pistol serial number also filed off..  The investigations continues to determine whose firearms are they and if the firearms were used in committing any other  crimes

The three suspects aged between 22 and 45 years old will be appearing in the Sebokeng magistrates court soon facing charges of possession of unlicensed firearm  and ammunition
