Vehicle rollover leaves man seriously injured

VANDERBIJLPARK. – Russel Meiring from the ER24 Communications Office reported that a man, believed to be in his 50s, was left seriously injured yesterday afternoon Monday 6 May when his vehicle rolled off Friedman Street in Vanderbijlpark.

ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene at 13:02 to find the light vehicle lying on its roof next to a tree. Bystanders had already pulled the man from the vehicle. Paramedics assessed the man and found that he had sustained numerous injuries and was in a serious condition.

The man was treated for his injuries and provided with pain-relief medication before he was transported to Mediclinic Emfuleni for further treatment. Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
