VEREENIGING. – Three local media platforms, IFM 102.2 Radio, Ster and Vaalweekblad are taking hands to do our bit for the community in being media sponsors for some exciting upcoming projects!
Every month on the second Sunday, Brandmuller Garden Pavilion hosts The Tree Owl Market with proceeds of the stall-fees going to a selected charity of the day.
The market is set in a beautiful relaxing garden area. Besides the market stalls there will be food and drinks available, as well as FREE Entertainment with DJ Cowboy and a selected artist of the day.
Visitors can relax under the majestic pin oak tree at Acorns Coffee Shoppe while enjoying the music.
The fun starts at 09:30 and goes on until 14:30 in the afternoon.
This month’s charity is “Die Bietjie Liefde Spens Feeding Scheme”. This charity feeds and clothes underprivileged families in and around The Unitas Park area. For this charity we ask members of the public to donate any non perishable foods and clothes on the day.
The next market takes place on Sunday, July 14 and will feature entertainment at 12:00 with popular husband and wife duo RNK, with their songs Nashville in Afrikaans as well as Springbok Pronk. The guest artist on the day will be Ricky Faber who has recently had hits with Afrikaners and Heuning.
The entertainment is free so please support this worthy charity.
Brandmullers is situated at 5 Dave Nourse Street, Unitas Park. Enquiries regarding the market can be addressed to Michele on 083 378 0715.
