LUSA Community Chest again has taken on the challenge to work together with community partners to fulfil children’s Christmas wishes this year!
A wish list will be distributed among 1 000 children in LUSA’s registered organisations. Less privileged kids will have the opportunity to choose a quality age-appropriate gift.
To meet this challenge, LUSA invites the general public and businesses to become partners in this project. All gifts will be handed over to the
various organizations on November 27. Main sponsors are welcome to attend the official handing over of the gifts. As valued media partners, IFM 102.2 and MooiVaal Media (Vaalweekblad and Ster) will provide high profile media coverage.
Options to become a partner:
1. Donate any amount of your choice towards the project as a CSI investment or as an individual.
2. Sponsor one or more children for R150 each to cover their gift.
3. Adopt and sponsor an organization.
4. Generate donations among your employees as an employee initiative.
Decorate a Christmas tree with children’s names in your company’s reception area.
Employees may choose a name and donate any amount towards that child and then give on behalf of the company.
Contributions may be deposited directly into the following bank account: Absa Bank; Cheque Account; Branch code: 632005; Account number:
4060258455. Please use the following reference: Wish / Company name / Your name
For any donation of R500 or more a Section 18A Tax Certificate will be issued and a BBBEE report can be provided. For more information you can contact Retha Jacobs on (016) 976 0933 or on 082 898 2006 or send an email to retha@lusa.co.za.
