Eliud Biwott breaks away from Sibeko Pule in Barrage Road, Vereeniging.

Eliud Biwott (left) of Nedbank Running Club takes on Sibeko Pule (right) of Sibanye Stillwater as they enter Vereeniging via Barrage Road. Biwott went on to win the 32Gi Vaal Club Sedibeng Marathon in a time of 02:22:02. Sikhumbuzi came third in a time 02:24:36.

Sikhumbuzi Seme of Murray en Roberts Running Club took the third place in a time of 02:23:12.

Thabo Motaung of Scaw was fourth in a time of 02:26:16.

Yolande MacClean from the Murray and Roberts Running Club took the ladies race in a time of 03:00:07.
