Support roses on iron horses this January

More than a 100 South African women bikers will get their chance to participate in the Woman Riders World Relay (WRWR) event early 2020. This relay is a Guinness Book of Records event, carrying a baton from country to country.

WRWR was setup on 29 August 2018 by Hayley Bell, a 27 year old rider from the UK, who wanted to do something that’s never been done before to this scale. Her goal was to WOW the motorcycle industry into realising that there are a lot of women bikers all over the world.

The mission was to co-ordinate women motorcycle riders across the world to participate in the “Women Riders World Relay”, bringing fun, experience, confidence and a sense of unity to women riders globally.

And women world-wide responded to the call with enthusiasm. Soon the group reached a huge milestone of over 10k group members from more than 80 countries in just four weeks.

Through this kind of support and determination WRWR was organised and kicked off in Scotland in February 2019. In January 2020 the event will reach its end when the baton is carried through South Africa, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Tanzania, Kenya, Oman and UAE.
