The shutdown will be today (Wednesday, 29 January) from 07:00 to 13:00. According to a statement issued by the municipality this is due to connecting the newly built Boipatong library to the water network.
“The affected community and businesses are advised to collect water for basic use during the shutdown period.”
“The municipality wishes to apologize for the inconvenience caused and further advices communities to use water sparingly at all times,” the statement said.
