“ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene at 19h50 to find a bakkie lying on its rood on the side of the road. Four men were found lying outside the vehicle a short distance away,” ER24 said in a statement.
“Medics assessed the patients and found that one man had sustained numerous injuries and showed no signs of life. Nothing could be done for him and he was declared dead.”
According to the statement the three other men were found with serious injuries. Medics treated the patients and provided them with pain-relief medications before they were transported to nearby hospitals for further care.
Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
