MEYERTON. – The Sedibeng K9 unit on April 19, confiscated dagga with a street value of R2 000 and arrested a middle-aged man during a routine stop and search in Meyerton.

Sergeant Molefi Sefatsa, Sergeant Minki Motaung, Constable Sampie Motaung en Constable Timothy Mohlala conducted a stop and search on Johan le Roux Road close to the Sicelo informal settlement. The suspect carrying a black bag tried to flee on foot but was soon after arrested. Police found 93 small ziplock bags full of dagga in his possession and he was charged accordingly.
