One dead and 14 injured in Boy Louw accident
The Truck driver alleged that the taxi driver drove infront of his truck and the two collided involving a third vehicle, a Toyota Yaris.
Vereeniging- Atleast one person died and 14 were injured when truck from West End Bricks Collided with a mini bus Taxi on the robot of Boy Louw and Lager Street this morning .
Vereeniging SAPS Cluster Spokesperson Captain Shado Mashobane says, ” Amongst the injured people, one sustained serious injuries and had to be Air lifted to Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital. One person was taken to Medicity Private Hospital while the others were taken to Sebokeng and Kopang Hospital respectively.”
“The Truck driver alleged that the taxi driver drove infront of his truck and the two collided involving a third vehicle, a Toyota Yaris Blue in colour that was static on the robot. ” Mashobane concludes, adding that Investigations are underway into what may have happened. The cause of the accident is still unknown.
