Three weeks left to apply for 2017 Sasol bursary
Johannesburg, South Africa – Grade 12 learners who are excited by maths and science, are urged to apply for the all-inclusive 2017 Sasol bursary programme.

Johannesburg, South Africa – Grade 12 learners who are excited by maths and science, are urged to apply for the all-inclusive 2017 Sasol bursary programme. It covers registration and tuition fees, accommodation, pocket money and allowance for books and meals. The closing date for applications is 30 April 2016.
The Sasol bursary programme is open to Grade 12 learners who excel in Mathematics and Science.
“Each year Sasol, through our comprehensive bursary programme, affords South Africa’s brightest young minds in Mathematics and Science, the opportunity to study towards a career of their dreams in the fields of science, engineering and accountancy,” said Londi Zulu, Lead Consultant at the Sasol Graduate Centre.
“Our investment in these areas is intended to create a sustainable pool of skilled professionals in critical areas such as mining, engineering, manufacturing, and environmental management by providing access to tertiary education funding for hardworking learners.”
At present, Sasol has more than 400 bursars who are pursuing their dreams at universities across the country. Bursary applications for the 2017 programme will only be considered and awarded to learners who want to pursue a BSc degree in chemical, mechanical, civil, electric, electronic, industrial, mining and computer engineering, as well as chemistry, geology metallurgy and accounting.
