Serial rapist sentencing underway
Monyake is said to have raped young children between the ages of 6 and 10 years in the past few years. Monyake would enter homes, take young children by sometimes lying to them and their parents. He would then proceed to open velds to rape them. His victims were from Sharpeville, Boipatong and Vereeniging.

VEREENIGING. – The judgement and sentencing of Sharpeville serial rapist Moeketsi Emmanuel Monyake is currently underway at the Vereeniging High Court.
Monyake is said to have raped young children between the ages of 6 and 10 years in the past few years. Monyake would enter homes, take young children by sometimes lying to them and their parents. He would then proceed to open velds to rape them. His victims were from Sharpeville, Boipatong and Vereeniging.
Some of the parents who attended the proceedings stated that the best judgement would be for Monyake to be imprisoned for life. Monyake, who was facing 23 counts of rape, assault and kidnapping respectively was this morning acquitted of three counts bringing his counts to 20.
The sentencing is due to take place tomorrow at the Vereeniging High Court.
