Potchefstroom: On Monday, 15 August 2016, two suspects aged 25 and 35 appeared in the Brits Magistrates’ Court for an alleged murder of a 42-year-old woman.
The suspects’ appearance in court follows their arrest on Thursday, 12 August 2016. They were arrested at Ten Rooms Informal Settlement after police got a tip-off about a person who was seen in possession of two cell phones suspected to be of a woman who was murdered on Wednesday, 11 August 2016. According to information, one of the suspects was found in possession of the murdered woman’s cell phones. It is alleged that upon questioning, the suspect admitted involvement in the woman’s murder. The second suspect was also traced as it is alleged that he forms part of the criminal activity and was allegedly working for the victim as a garden man.
