High density operation in NW nets suspects for various offences

The operation resulted in the arrest of 83 suspects for various offenses that included assault, robbery, possession of dangerous weapons, possession of drugs, burglaries, housebreak-in and theft, driving under the influence of alcohol and others.

Police also managed to confiscate drugs such as Dagga and Cat, and also found suspects in possesion of a knife and fencing poles.

The arrested suspects are due to appear in various Magistrates’ Courts in Mahikeng Cluster on Monday, 12 September 2016.

The North West Provincial Commissioner, Lieutenant General Baile Motswenyane, applauded members. She warned those who transgress the law will be dealt with harshly through this kind of operation.
