SEBOKENG. – A strange accident that left two occupants of a vehicle in critical condition took place about 100 metres from the intersection of the Golden Highway, between West side Park and Zone 17 around 20:45 last Thursday.
Witnesses alleged that the driver was trying to overtake another vehicle before he lost control. The car swerved and rolled several times.
One of the occupants was left sprawled on the grass.
The driver was also thrown out of the vehicle and landed in the middle of the road.
The victims were transported by ER24 to Emfuleni Clinic.
Police spokesperson Sergeant Gertrude Makhale said a case of reckless and negligent driving is being investigated.
