VEREENIGING. – After widespread publication of the sewerage running from a pump station into the Vaalriver and exposure on Cartè Blanche, nothing has been done to stop it or rectify the problem.
This videos from Gary Colegate confirms that the sewerage spill at Mario Milani is getting worse. According to Gary the sewage is coming from the pump station that is not working. It runs down Mario Milani Drive in the direction of Vereeniging and then enters a storm water pipe that takes it under the road and funnels it down towards the Vaal River. “It is worse than when Carter Blanche filmed at this location a month ago – disgusting,” says Gary.
