VANDERBIJLPARK. – ER 24 reported that a 68 year old man sustained serious injuries when he was involved in a collision on Ascot On Vaal yesterday October 29.
Shortly before 6pm paramedics from ER24 arrived on the scene where they found the man still behind the steering wheel of his vehicle. He had sustained multiple injuries and fractures. Paramedics stabilised him on scene and later transported him to Sebokeng Hospital for further care. The driver of the second vehicle was assessed on the scene, but declined to be transported to hospital. The exact circumstances surrounding the collision is not yet known.
