Chris Botha, media liaison officer of Netcare 911 reported that at 09:52 on 30 December Netcare 911 paramedics responded to a collision on the R538 close to the Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport. Reports from the scene indicate that it was an attempted cash in transit heist. The South African Police are busy with a detail investigation. Paramedics arrived at the scene and found the vehicles at the side of the roadway. After triaging the injured, it was found that a security guard tragically died due to the extensive injuries he sustained, three other people were found to have sustained serious injuries.Paramedics treated the injured at the scene before transporting them to hospital for further care.
