Man’s body found lying in veld

ER 24 reports that a body of a man, believed to be in his 50s, was found this afternoon in a field off of Bosmansdam Road in Milnerton, Western Cape.

According to ER24,  paramedics were on their way to another emergency when they were flagged down by members of the community.

Once on the scene, paramedics found the body of a man lying some distance into the veld against a wall.It was evident to paramedics that the man had been dead for some time. Nothing could be done for him and he was declared dead on the scene.

The details surrounding the incident are unclear but local authorities will be launching an investigation into this matter.
