The weightlifters from Dragon Gym excelled during the Senior Provincial Weightlifting Championships in Rustenburg on 6 June. According to Ephraim, his boys gave the other participants a good whipping, considering that most of them aren’t even senior participants.
Obert Booysen took 1st position in the 69kg division; David Tauhle and Pieter Jafta took 3rd and 2nd places in the 62kg category; Revaldo Matras came 1st in the 56kg division; Jaydee Williams and Jonathan Hendricks came in 3rd and 2nd in the 77kg division; Eugene Foster won the 69kg senior division and Reval de Kock was 3rd in the 94kg division.
