Truck and car collide leaving four injured

VEREENIGING. – Russel Meiring, ER24 spokesperson reported that four people were left injured on Staurday 28 July following a collision between a truck and light motor vehicle on Playfair Boulevard in Vereeninging.

ER24 paramedics, along with the Provincial Services, arrived on the scene to find the truck in the left-hand lane while the light motor vehicle had come to a stop on the side of the road.

Upon closer inspection, paramedics found three men walking around on the scene with minor injuries while a fourth man was found seated inside the vehicle in a critical condition.

Paramedics treated the men and provided the critically injured with advanced life support interventions. Once treated, the men were transported to nearby hospitals for further treatment.

Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
