MEYERTON. – A race against the clock. For the first time ever in the Vaal Midvaal Raceway and Mooivaal Media present to you ‘BEAT ME IF YOU CAN’ TIME ATTACK CHALLENGE. On September 29 Petrol Heads of all ages will flock to the Midvaal Raceway in Meyerton to race against the clock.
Drivers take their cars onto the track and compete for the best time and the winners will walk away with trophies.
Times are compared to other drivers in the same class.The precise distance of the five corner track will be announced in weeks to come.Registration and the first run is R100 and thereafter R50 per run. Anybody with a safe vehicle and proper safety belts will only be allowed to race after inspection. Road cars, racing cars and modified cars are welcome. Any make or model as long as it passes the safety inspection Drivers must wear a helmet, long sleeve trousers and shirts. The entrance fee for spectators is R50 per person and children under 16 is free.
Despite the racing there will be exhibitors, food stalls and entertainment throughout the day. A mobile dyno tuning unit and car sound on display. With lots to do for the whole family Midvaal Raceway is the place to be on Saturday September 29.
