VEREENIGING. – Hands of Hope a charity organisation helping the poor and less privileged received huge donations of food, clothing and groceries from Ed-U-College a private school in Vereeniging.
It is an annual event every year and was held on August 28 at the schools sportsgrounds in Joubert Street, Vereeniging.
“We teach our learners to take care and give back to the community,” said Kleynjan, principal of Ed-U-College. She also gave a special word of thanks to Belinda Coetzer, main organiser of this event and the parents, learners and staff for making a success of this day. “We hope that this fundraiser will make a difference to people in need. Ed-U-College strives to uplift the lives of the less privileged,” said Kleynjan. Learner where treated with a fun day on the sportsgrounds with water slides, food parcels and other fun events.
