VANDERBIJLPARK. – Spring came a few days earlier this year when Stonehaven on Vaal held their annual Spring Beer Festival on Saturday August 29. The setting on the banks of the Vaal River was the perfect place to be as some of SA’s best entertainers graced the stage. The Dixie Hillbillies opened the show and soon guided everyone into a party mood. The other entertainers included Gangs of Ballet, the Graeme Watkins Project, Arno Carstens and Garth Taylor. Apart from the great entertainment there were tastings and full glasses of beer and other “healthy liquids” to be enjoyed. Cheers to Spring!
