VANDERBIJLPARK. – Football development is something that the Vanderbijlpark Campus of the North West University really takes seriously.
This rang especially true on Saturday when NWU Vaal hosted a soccer clinic for u/13 and u/15 girls hosted by Bantwana national women’s u/17 and u/20 coaches Simphiwe Dludlu and Maud Khumalo.
The two coaches arrived last week in South Africa after being knocked out of the FIFA Junior Womens World Cup where South Africa drew 0-0 against Mexico and lost to Japan 6-0 and to Brazil 5-1.
The clinic coincided with several matches being played in the development league for u/11, u/13 and u/15 teams in conjuction with the Emfuleni Local Football Association.
