Etienne Engelbrecht takes up the reins at Vaalpark Articon
'Together we will lead this school to the highest heights'
SASOLBURG. – The Department of Education’s Fezile Dabi District earlier this week announced the appointment of Mr Etienne Engelbrecht as new headmaster of the prestigious school of the arts, Vaalpark Articon.
Engelbrecht succeeds Mr Wouter Wessels, who was headmaster since 2009.
On Articon’s Facebook page, Mr Engelbrecht is described as “a very distinguished and humble person. Soft spoken but decisive in actions. Respected and admired amongst his peers, staff members and learners”.
Judged by the many positive comments, it is clear that parents, teachers and learners stand behind their new headmaster.
One of the comments summarises the general opinion: “The learners, the parents, the Governing Body, the staff and the Fezile Dabi district are privileged to finally welcome you as the official head of Vaalpark Articon. Together we will lead this school to the highest heights”.
