JAN VAN HEERDEN WRITES:
a) Roads are full of potholes (one meter wide and some more than 200mm deep) the worst areas are :- Vereeniging city Merriman str, Sharpeville, Houtkopweg Duncanville, Boy Louw rd. , Homer Anton Stegman and Jock Oosterlaack all these roads have heavy traffic/ pedestrians/school children lives are in risk.
b) Channels that were dug for cables between the driveways in Boy Louw street are still incomplete with thorn trees growing and preventing the view of motorists and pedestrians.
c) Boy Louw train bridge subway is flooded every time and must be closed for traffic. The moment the road is closed all motorists are forced to pass through Sharpeville where potholes are 2 metres wide and damages vehicles.
d) Traffic robots in Boy Louw street remain out of order for months .

This is the worst condition I have seen in Vereeniging since 1980 and there in no improvement, why must we still pay for services we don`t receive while innocent people lives are being put at risk daily because of Emfuleni’s poor service delivery.
