VEREENIGING. – Shawn Herbst, Media Liaison Officer for Netcare 911 reported that at 23:34 on Sunday, 8 September, Netcare 911 responded to reports of a collision on the Boy Louw onramp towards the R59 in Sharpeville.
Reports from the scene indicate that the driver of a bakkie lost control crashing through the safety barrier coming to rest down an embankment. Medics assessed the scene and found that the driver an adult male had sustained fatal injuries and was declared deceased on the scene.
All necessary authorities were on scene.
