Comrades legend Bruce Fordyce visits Vaal parkrun

During his visit to the Riviera on Vaal parkrun in Vereeniging this morning, the Comrades legend Bruce Fordyce ran the parkrun, interacted with parkrunners and signed a fan’s book (a copy of Bruce Fordyce Comrades King written by John Cameron Dow).

Fordyce is perhaps best known for winning the grueling Comrades Marathon a record 9 times.

He was also instrumental in bringing the parkrun movement to South Africa.
