The town substation in Curie Boulevard Vanderbijlpark was switched off on Monday the 16th of December at midnight to enable the Emfuleni Local Municipality’s electrical team to install the new 30MVA transformer. This work will ensure that there is sufficient electricity capacity in the future. The electricity is said to be switched back on Wednesday the 18th of December. The affected areas will be CW1 to CW6, NW7, Bonnane, Muvhango, Stephanopark and Mantevrede. Residents in these areas are urged to make the necessary arrangements.
