Motorbike rider seriously injured in collision
VANDERBIJLPARK.- An 18-year-old motorbike rider has been seriously injured following a collision with a motor vehicle that sent him right over the top of the car’s roof. The incident occurred at around 6 pm this evening on the corners of William Nicol and Bernard Price streets in Vanderbijlpark.
ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene at 18:12 to find the young man lying on the pavement. Advanced Life Support interventions were necessary to stabilise the patient before he was transported to Sebokeng Hospital for further treatment. The driver of the vehicle, as well as a passenger on the bike were both uninjured. Both sets of family were also on the scene.
