Local resident Filipe Pereira is reaching out to the community regarding a hit and run accident that occured on Friday, 31 January at around 19:3o.
His mother in law was hit in the accident on the corner of Hendrick van Eck and Louis Trichard Blvd, Vanderbijlpark. The car that hit her was a new model Blue Nissan Xtrail. The driver of the vehicle sped off afterwards, while Filipe’s mother in law was left alone in the dark. Luckily there were witnesses from a nearby church who saw the accident and came to assist her.
“We were able to retrieve images of the individual involved in the hit and run and would like to ask help from the community with information regarding the owner of this Blue Nissan Xtrail. He is an older white male with white hair, as seen on the photos. If anyone has information on this man please contact 083 228 3778,” asks Filipe.
