Chelsey George and Anna Woodard – “Today we did a short experiment in the difference between factory car seat covers and the cute minky/after market covers from The Car seat Canopy. Factory car seat covers have a flame retardant fabric, after market covers do not. While they may be much cuter they are unsafe and some can even void your seats warranty in case of an accident. The #Graco seat cover was set on fire before the #carseatcanopy and it went out before a full minute was up. The car seat canopy cover that Anna provided kept burning. If you’re in an accident and your car happens to catch on fire, the original car seat cover is made to keep a child safe as long as possible. The car seat canopy cover will not provide that protection. #carseatsafety #knowbetter #dobetter”
