According to ER24’s Russel Meiring ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene at 19h51 to find the two men lying on the side of the road. The vehicle that had struck the men were found parked a short distance away.
“Medics assessed the men and found that they had sustained numerous injuries and were in a serious condition.
“The men were treated for their injuries and were provided with pain-relief medication before they were transported to Sebokeng Provincial Hospital for further care,” Meiring said.
The driver of the light motor vehicle escaped injury. Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
