Employees of EPWP protest over salaries

The employees of EPWP stormed at the Emfuleni municipality demanding their last month salaries (February).

The frustrated employees ended up closing the main entrance glass door with huge rocks as they demanded to meet with the CFO. Seeing that they don’t get joy, they further went on to throw rocks and turn up the dustbin. As if it was all, the workers went on the main road, President Kruger Street to burn papers, closed the road with stones making it difficult for the motorists.  Thabo Ndwandwe an administration officer for On Board, representing the workers said they have submitted the documents at ELM that had to be finalized by the CFO.
