“The accused’s court appearance stems from his apprehension on Thursday, 7 May 2020 in Makapanstad, after police conducted intensive investigations following theft of steel palisades from a primary school in Motlhabaneng section in Makapanstad between Tuesday, 21 and Thursday, 23 April 2020. During the arrest, police also recovered suspected stolen property,” Colonel Adéle Myburgh said in a statement.
