Boiketlong residents barricade road
The Emfuleni Local Municipality Mayor Simon Mofokeng was seen arriving in Boiketlong following an ongoing service delivery protest that started in the early hours this morning.
SEBOKENG. – Over one thousand Boiketlong informal settlement residents have taken to the streets in what seems to be a service delivery protest.
The Waterdaal road has been closed since the early hours of the morning today. Police are on the scene to direct traffic. According to Journalist Lazarus Dithagiso, Emfuleni Local Municipality (ELM) Mayor Simon Mofokeng has arrived and will be addressing members of the community.
