Vaalweekblad reporter Schalk le Roux is on scene of an accident that occurred just a few minutes ago on the R57.
As a result of this the road between Sasolburg and Vaalpark will be closed to ensure the safe landing of a helicopter that has to transport an infant to hospital for necessary medical assistance. It is unclear what caused the accident, and the number of fatalities if any are still unknown.
