R20 000 for the SPCA

VEREENIGING. – The Warthogs East Rand MCC (bikers club) hosted a bikers run for the Vereeniging/Vanderbijlpark SPCA. At the end of the day they donated R20 000 in cash to the SPCA.

The money will be split between the Vereeniging and Vanderbijpark offices.Nikky van der Merwe, secretary of the Warthogs East Rand MCC host, said they had the privilege to organise the wonderful event that attracted thousands of bikers.

 ‘Various companies contributed to the success of the event. Thanks to all sponsors who took part,” said Nikky. Zinto Everything Brand sponsored the sound and stage. Montego, Hills Pet Nutrition and Supreme Pet sponsored the food.
The Warthogs supported the event by donating money, food and blankets. The final hand-over of the money will take place in the next few weeks.
