SASOLBURG. – ER 24 reported that a 24-year-old man was left seriously injured this morning after he was knocked over by a light motor vehicle on the Bergius Street in Sasolburg.
ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene and found a man lying in the middle island between the road. The light motor vehicle that had knocked over the pedestrian had stopped just a short distance away.
Upon assessment, paramedics found that the man had sustained numerous injuries and was in a serious condition. Paramedics treated the man and provided him with advanced life support interventions. Once treated, the man was transported to Metsimaholo Provincial Hospital for further treatment. The driver of the light motor vehicle was assessed and found to have escaped injury.
